Goal: Can augmented self avatars improve near-field interactions?

We conceptualized, designed, and evaluated a hand tracking avatar application in AR. Using Unity 3D, MRTK and the Hololens 2, we conducted a study to compare and understand how users' perceptions and interactions are affected when provisioning them with different kinds of holographic hand avatars.
