Goal: To study how different factors affect On-air writing in Virtual Reality
We conceptualized and designed a writing interface in VR that can support on-air writing. This interface was used to study how the factors of input modality (entity used to deploy ink), inking trigger (action based on which inking takes place), and the canvas' geometry (shape of the canvas on which users write) affects users' perceptions associated with the writing system and their writing performance.
